And we're off! AMP and NFTS join forces to offer first ever Drone Cinematography Course

AMP home of Fly ICARUS Drone Training School partner up with the National Film and Television School to launch the first ever drone training course for film and TV professionals.

Through our own Cineflow aerial production work, we’re only too aware of the pain points that Directors of Photography and Camera Operators come up against in attempting to capture the perfect shot, let alone making sure that all the legalities associated with flying UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) have been ticked off. The ICARUS Media Course, therefore, has been tailored specifically with film and TV industry folk in mind.

The three-day course covers the theory behind handling UAVs safely, legally and the practicalities around getting cameras airborne. At the end of the three days, we award successful candidates with the CAA Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO): the license required to operate drones commercially.

Places will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and can only be booked here: info@flyicarus.co.uk or by calling us on 0845 450 9300 / 01491 526 700

We’re looking forward to welcoming the first students to Howbery Park on 22nd – 24th May 2017.
